I know some of what my children are saying on the internet. However, if they use a term that I do not know then I can look it up and see what it means. Teen Chat Decoder allows me to allow them to use this great new technology but it also allows me to know what is going on.
As a parent that is very important to me. Some natural independence that they so desire as teenagers and a safety net for me as a concerned parent.
I want to give them some freedom to do what “everyone else” is doing but I want to know that their language is appropriate and what is acceptable to my family and my family values.”

Parents need to have one of this so they can really understand what their children are talking about. Not to invade their privacy but have an understanding of that the kids are doing is always better then not.

Currently I am studying subjects related to these kinds of materials and subjects so; I think it’ll be great to find out what the new words means these days. Besides, a lot of teenagers I communicate with online just being too lazy to type.”
